Quickwit on Laravel Cloud with Rust, twelve days in
We moved our Rust search engine to Laravel Cloud twelve days ago. The numbers, the 20-second gateway limit, the 144-line Rust wrapper, and three things I'd ask Laravel for.
Peter Van Dijck is the founder of Sputnik Intelligence. It subscribes to newsletters, transcribes podcasts, works out who is speaking, and keeps it all in one index that people and their AI agents can search.

People are misreading the Gemini 3.7 and 3.8 Flash releases. Google just showed it can post-train again, which is why I expect Gemini 4 to be good
