…You're always welcome to come on and say your piece. But I can't get any more of the story out there. And I did feel like I wanted to explain that because I think people would be like, why aren't you reporting it? It's a fucking lot of time and effort to fucking track down the truth on the story.

Samantha "Gemini" Stevens

…at the table. Somebody needs to be heard. Somebody needs to get some stuff done. It's not about making sure that the shit that's out there, because it has to be heavy shit to carry, is getting just thrown about even more. That's just, that's not why I do what I do. That's not why I work with you.

Speaker 3

Yeah, and I've done that, by the way. I've done, I've covered some really low stories. I've just covered some negative things about good friends of mine. You know, I've done that. I've had people that are still pissed at me. And at that time, I was proud to do it. That was my job. My job was to make sure I get to the bottom of every story. That's what the review journal paid me for. That's what ABC News always paid me for. Right now, I'm trying to put people in restaurants that they're going to enjoy. That's kind of my stated mission statement for this exact phase of my life. I will tell you when a place opens. I'll tell you when a place closes. I'll tell you whatever the confirmed details are on why or when or how. But I'm not going to go out of my way to dig up that dirt just for somebody's entertainment value.

Samantha "Gemini" Stevens

Exactly. Yes, exactly. It's

Speaker 3

just, that's not where I see myself at this particular moment. Hey, Gotober.

Samantha "Gemini" Stevens

Yeah.
