Kevin Rose had pointed out that a leaked book draft could now be rewritten and published by someone else within days. Ferriss, who is about 80% through a new book, said he isn't using AI to write it and would "rather write a book for 10,000 people than do short form videos for 10 million who forget it 10 seconds later."

I'm just saying, like, that is why if you are writing about the realm of ideas, that is going to be a hard game to play. If you are writing about lived experience, like I did X, Y, and Z, then I think you have more defensibility. But, you know, I think I'm not sure we talked about this, but I've just kind of come down to deciding that I'd rather write now. I'm also half pregnant with this book, is like 80% of the way there. Yeah.
You've been working on this one for a long time.
Yeah, I have. I mean, it's taken, in a way, honestly, I've been waiting for the technology to catch up.
