“There is this 52 to 1 ratio. So for 52 weeks, we are aligning and then we are coding for one week now… What matters now is how we collaborate, how we communicate, how we create that consensus.”

“There is this 52 to 1 ratio. So for 52 weeks, we are aligning and then we are coding for one week now… What matters now is how we collaborate, how we communicate, how we create that consensus.” — Deniz Kartepe, UX Research Geeks

…now, any work you do is perfectly conceptualized with the help of an AI that can give you in-moment feedback about what you are doing and always be available very contextually to provide you the information that you need to improve. So also that adaptation onboarding process is super fast as well.

Amazing. Thank you for that. And if we circle back just really quick to our initial talk about the product development lifecycle changing and how the engineer's role is changing, are there any other insights that you have learned that we haven't touched on?

Deniz Kartepe

My engineer, head of engineering workflows, an amazing guy, he also used that in a talk, which was a very strong statement coming from a couple of users that then we evolved into a slogan, which was these are technical architects, the people who are responsible for building the technical architecture of companies. They were saying like, there is this 52 to 1 ratio. So for 52 weeks, we are aligning and then we are coding for one week now. All that alignment, all those weeks of understanding each other, understanding the limitations, possibilities, and creating that consensus for just one week of coding. So what a shift in the entire world where this has turned upside down on its head, where what matters now is how we collaborate, how we communicate, how we create that consensus. How do we make sure that we understand each other…

and box and build and break things i'm not talking about build a product build up a workflow for yourself uh with the help of ai what it can look like how it can be improved and then break it and then build it again and get comfortable with breaking making mistakes it not working because then the…
