Well, it's the thing, though, is like I got so frustrated with it that it just like continues to like, yeah, like Robbie. It's like, I'm interacting with you, and I think that you're, you know, who I am. And then it's like, I'll get like a couple rounds into it. I'm just like, very clearly, you're not paying attention. Funny. I just did that when I was testing local LLMs because I wanted the local LLM to, which is just LLM. How many times are we going to say that over and over again? Anyway, I wanted to handle basics. Like I'm not going to use the code. I wanted to use it to like, hey, what's my whiskey wish list that I have right now? Hey, what birthdays are coming up? Like, this is just like local JSON files I wanted to go look up. There's nothing to hallucinate, just a quick report. And I had it put a sigil at the end of every message so that I knew who I was talking to when I got a Discord message back. So that it wasn't, you know, which LLM was it. And that was how I quickly realized that I didn't like the results of the local LLM because every time it had the sigil, I was like, that was garbage. Oh my goodness. I got to stop talking to this thing. This has been days of just terrible responses. I'm going to stop. And I removed the code path that routed to the local LLMs.

And that gets to the conundrum of, it's like, here's developers used to, you know, striving for aiming for predictability, reliability, like this thing. Yeah. You just set it on a cron job and it's going to just run forever. And then it's like, here you go, just like, just falling on its face. And then you just like kind of take people that aren't as close to the metal as we are. And you're just like, my God, it's, you know, all of that stuff is super terrifying through that lens because you have all sorts of like the, you know, the erosion of trust that existed and has been. Been eaten away at for decades and decades. And now all of a sudden we throw this on top of that. And you're like, oh, God, this isn't going to go well. That's terrifying. You have a bunch of things that it's just because they say it with such confidence. And all you need to do is just be like, well, yeah, this stuff is popular and it's everywhere. And everybody's talking about it. And it does do some really impressive and incredible things, but it's just like a very difficult time to be able to see it for all of its superpowers and all of its warts at the same time.
