“I always say the best cybersecurity can be the worst cybersecurity. Because if nobody uses it, it doesn't matter how secure it is.” — Amy Blackshaw, Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn

“The part that surprises a lot of people is that attacks themselves didn't change. We didn't wake up with Frontier AI and just say, wow, we now have all of these new vectors that we've never seen before. It's that the techniques that an AI-driven attacker are the same ones that we have known for years and for decades in some cases. But what has changed is the economics. For the entire history of the cybersecurity industry, the expensive part of the attack was sort of the thinking, right? … Now, Frontier AI has deleted that cost. The thinking is now it's instant, it's tireless, it's exhaustive when you're talking about these agentic models. It can check every door, not just the open, obvious ones. … The villain is still the attacker. They just now have the same capabilities that we do, and they're operating under a new economics. So the entry is cheap and enumeration is free.” — Amy Blackshaw, Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn

“Coding is a perfect environment because it's simulatable and verifiable. And anything that has those two properties, AI will get to superhuman capabilities in. And so a lot of interesting questions will be, how can we pretend to make things simulatable or verifiable over time in other fields?” — Richard Socher, Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn

“A lot of what I see in what I would consider slop is that someone's making three really good points and then there will be a section in the document called what this isn't. When in the history of anyone anywhere have we ever felt in our writing that we needed to preemptively state what we are not doing?” — Carly Taylor, Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn

“Right now, if Kate kills it and she's doing really great and super productive because she's got her really good private AI IP, she's going to get rewarded for that. If she shares it with me, there's zero incentive to do that.” — Jeff Hancock, Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn
